Today Mama and Daddy brought me in for my 6 month appointment. I am 38th percentile for weight at 15lbs, 64th percentile for length at 26.5 inches, and 61st percentile for head size. Pretty good, I think. I start eating rice cereal in the morning, which will be fun. And then this evil woman came in and gave me shots. I mean, seriously, how many shots does a Princess have to have? How many diseases do I have to not get? Mama picked me up to hug me when I screamed and I turned and gave the nurse a dirty dirty look. And she deserved it.
Then they all laughed at me.

Closet Purge III
Mama and I spent a few hours this weekend purging my closet as I have now outgrown the 3-6 months size. I am a big girl now, even almost too big for the 6 months size. Out went the old, small clothes that I will never wear again and in came the new, larger clothes that I will wear until April. Never in my life again, I think, will I change clothing with this rapidity. Don't think that Mama has bought me all these clothes. I received many over Christmas and I also was given a ton of hand me downs from Mama's cousin Kristen, who has 2 little girls and her older sister, Megan, has 3 little girls. Lots of cool clothes to wear. Today I am wearing a new outfit which makes my butt look very cute. Overalls only look good on baby girls.
Oh, and last night I gave Mama a huge scare because now I roll over in my crib. She walked in and I was on my stomach with my hoody over my head so you couldn't see my face. She thought I was dead. But I was just sleeping.

Giants Fandom
I have entered the world in a year when the Giants were supposedly horrible. They sucked. Everyone was down on them my whole life.
Well yesterday we proved them all wrong!! We have won more games on the road than any other team in history. We beat the fabulous Brett Favre and his Pack in their territory (nice ski mask Brett and the chanting Go Pack Go clearly doesn't help so knock it off)! Now we head on to take on the evil empire the Patriots and we're supposed to get creamed there too.
But little does the world know that the Princess has entered it and has brought all of her cuteness to bear to help the G-Men win. You are going down, Tom Brady!

Good Day Today
Today I had a good day. Let's see, I went to Musikgarten with Daddy. Daddy thinks he wasn't the cutest Daddy there as there was a young, good looking Daddy also in attendance. But I think when you add the cuteness factor of the Princess, clearly he was the best looking. Then we came home and we played for a long time. Then Mama came home and she and I have been hanging out. I am now too heavy for my pack and play bassinet, so Mama made it so I am in the pack and play now. That's kind of different, but fun. I also sat by myself for 5 - 10 minutes today, so I can do that now too. My hair's growing well, I petted some puppies, and generally I was very cute.
Oh, and, the next time there is a square number as a day (that's the 25th, today's the 16th for those of you who are not in the math know) it will be my 6 month birthday.
The Princess is awaiting presents and accolades for 6 months. Mos def.

If You're Happy and You Know it...Scream
This is my exersaucer. I got this for Christmas and I LOVE it. I am only allowed to spend 30 minutes at a time in it, however, because Daddy read somewhere it would stop my walking development. I really wish my parents would stop their reading.
Look how much fun this is!!

New Cute Thing I Do
The latest and greatest cuteness from me has been how I wake up in the morning. Now I chatter away at my doll and my teddy bear while looking at myself in the mirror. This wakes everyone up in the house peacefully and generally increases my cuteness factor.
Yesterday my team won, mostly because I was cute and wearing my Giants gear. Bring it on Pack!!!

Watching the Giants
Today I am dressed in my red and blue with my Giants bib on and I am rooting hard for the Giants to beat Dallas (please note how the cuteness will help the G-Men).
Here are the reasons why:
- The Giants don't need cheerleaders.
- The Cowboys are from Texas.
- The Giants' quarterback isn't dating Jessica Simpson.
- The Giants haven't employed T.O.
- President Bush roots for the Cowboys.

Let it Snow
I haven't been out of the house since Monday night when I went to church (still frustrated about that) with Mama. The parents do not want me traveling unnecessarily in this bad weather, so I've been in. The minions have gotten walks each day, Mama and Daddy have gone out to class and practice...but the Princess has been stuck inside. Given our new no television rules, this is not a good thing. I'm getting a lot of use out of my tres cool exersaucer.
I love the snow.

I Think We May be Mormons
Last night Mama brought me to church on a Monday night. I was comfortable, in my house, hanging out with my toys, and then off we go to church. To church! On a Monday evening?!? I mean, seriously, I have been baptized Catholic, and we don't go to church on Mondays! And to top it all off, the woman forgot a nipple (not that she doesn't have them, it's just that they don't work) for my bottle! So I was starving and crying. Luckily for Mama, this meant we could leave early, but my thing is we shouldn't have been there in the first place.
Also, it's a new semester, when am I going to see Grandma Darlene and Grandpa Mike again??? It's been too long!

Exersaucer
The next phase in my life of toys has begun and I am SO happy. Today arrived my exersaucer. I was so excited about it that Mama and Daddy thought I looked like I was having an overdose. It is so cool. It lights up. It spins. It makes lots of music. It lets me stand up. I LOVE it.
On a sour note, Mama read yesterday that babies under the age of 2 years should never never never never ever see a television. So now I don't get to watch my shows, The Wire, BSG, Sesame Street. I mean, seriously, Mama needs to stop reading because it is curtailing all my fun!
