Grown Up

A couple of weeks ago I told my hairdresser I would like a "grown up" haircut, Here it is from the front, looking pretty much like it did before.

The real difference is in the back, which is a shaped bob. I look very cute and grown up.

Yesterday Momma and Daddy took me to see my first "grown up" movie in the theatre - we saw Tangled, we ate nachos and cheese (Great Grandma would have had a heart attack about that), we sat in a chair that would not stay down because I do not weigh enough or or my legs are not long enough to hold it down, we were amazed by the big screen and the big sound ("it's too loud, Momma").

I am so excited to do all these neat new grown up things!

Christmas Decorating

I love Christmas. I love the tree, I love the village, I love the lights. I have only broken three things so far, so I am doing better than last year.

Wedding Girl

Fair

I went to the fair with Grandma Darlene and we had fun!!! At the end of the day I was thirsty - and tired - but it was great!!

My Birthday

I turned 3 on July 25 - but I haven't been blogging since it's summer, and who can stay inside during summer to spend any time on the computer? My birthday was a Disney extravaganza - and here I am showing off my glass slippers and Snow White outfit!

Sometimes

Sometimes the world is best looked at when you're leaning at an angle. All sorts of new ideas come into your head - like, why would I play with any of the fabulous toys in my room when I can play with chopsticks and the wok and the cheese cutter.

My First Race

Momma and I ran a race together - my first race! We did the one mile fun run but we ended up coming in right at the end with all the runners who did the 5K - it was so exciting! I did most of the walking, basically being in the stroller only for little bits at a time. We did the race for the cure - participating with most of our Utah tribe. I really liked how it was only girls - no boys allowed!

Last Formal Photo

After scrolling through my pictures I realized this was the last formal photo of me - taken in November. NOVEMBER. I believe my throne has been usurped by a young, cute upstart who has had about a million formal photos since then. The fact that I do not stop moving for more than a minute to have my picture taken is beside the point. I must plan my retaliation.

Skyping

Here we are skyping with Gigi and Bobo. Everyone who has skype can skype with us. Last night I asked Mama if I could skype with her. She explained that as I was sitting right next to her, we didn't really need to skype as we could talk to each other. I still want to skype!!

What Happens in Vegas Stays in Vegas

My Momma and Daddy went to a wedding in Vegas and I got to meet some new friends, Charlotte and Vanessa. I have talked about them for the past two weeks - I have been so excited about them.

The other day I told Momma I was waiting for Charlotte and Vanessa to rescue me - but as what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, I did not explain further...

Ted

Here I am holding Ted while I check my email. Ted is my best friend - I've had him since I was born and my family in Australia sent me my Ted. He is worn, he is dirty - he used to be plushy pink and now we call him "Brown Ted" because he is a little faded. If I don't have him I can't sleep and I cry. My mom is very concerned about keeping an ever present eye on Ted so I don't lose him - and now my favorite game is to hide Ted and then say to Momma "where's Ted" and she goes into a full funny melt down. I follow her around the house mimicking her and then eventually I find him, since I always knew where he was, and laugh at Momma who is completely freaking out.

This is a great game!

Chess

I am learning this game chess - can't be too hard - I mean, seriously, I've been 2 to 3 step thinking my whole life...

Easter!!

I learned to color eggs this week! I loved it!! I brought my eggs home and broke 2 of them immediately - 3 have survived!!

Lounging with my Bro

I love my little brother. I like to hold his bottle while he drinks, I like to start up his glow worm, I like to shove his binky in his mouth after taking it out of his mouth just to see if he cries. But mostly I just like being around him in my family - here we are watching some good movie. Life is good.

First Party

Went to my first Princess party this weekend. I had fun. I took a swing at a pinata, rode around in my friend's princess jeep, wore a dress and a crown and took home many bracelets and a wand. I LOVE the Princesses - totally into them now. I am also planning my birthday party which will be in July. Gotta get ready early!

St Patrick's Day Fairy

Last Name

I learned my last name in school this week so now every time someone asks me what my name is I say "oy Beth Goggi" - for some reason saying Goggi is so much easier than Elizabeth.

Great Aunt Anne

One of my Mama's favorite people on the planet is her Aunt Anne, who is my Great Aunt Anne. She came to visit in January and here we are playing in my room. She was very good - she played and wore headbands and completely understood my need to wear a tutu and wings and a crown. We are kindred spirits.

Back to School

After a month off for Christmas break I'm back at pre-school. I have new friends and a new teacher. And I am in such a good mood to be back in school again!
