Christmas Decorations

My family finally decorated for Christmas. Here I am being very helpful while putting on lights.

Showing Sibling the Ropes

This is my high chair. Now that I am a big girl who sits in real chairs, my baby brother gets to use it. To help him, I dolled myself up in my Abby outfit and showed him how to play the music. He was properly impressed.

Winter is Coming

I love this weather! Daddy raked up the leaves in the backyard and made a big pile for me. I buried him in it, I buried myself in it, I buried Ted in it, I helped rake, I helped chase Hobbes and throw leaves at him. All in all - it was fun!!!

Sick Days

I got a fever Sunday so I got to stay home from school yesterday and today. I am totally fine today but Momma wants to make sure I am really totally fine, so I am home running around bossing people around.

Halloween

For Halloween, I decided to be Abby Cadabby from Sesame Street. Primarily because there were pink wings. I got a lot of "good stuff" from people in doorways. Today I put my costume on over my clothes so I could wear the wings again. I LOVE my costume. I also tried to eat Nerds and twizzlers for breakfast - which did not go over well with Momma who says I have to wait until after lunch.

Yesterday we went for photos at Grandma Darlene's house - here I am checking to make sure everything is going okay - David's being held adequately, Grandma's flash is working, Daddy's sitting on the stool well. I have a very important job!!

My Mommy's Belly

Look at my Mommy's belly. Seriously. How big can it get? When is this baby brother going to come already so I can abuse him???

Swimming

This summer my family and I went to the pool lots. Generally I went with Daddy walking right behind me as he was afraid for me to be more than 3 feet away from him. But I love him, so it works for both of us. Here I am working with my board...which I stole from some other unsuspecting kid.

Tomorrow Tomorrow It's Only a Day Away

Here's my best pal Dory. A few weeks back she taught me "The Sun will Come Out Tomorrow" in the car with Grandma. I am very happy about this as I sing it constantly. Mommy, however, is considering getting one of those concealed weapons permits that are so popular here in Utah.

Teaching

My parents are teachers - so I am working on my skills so when I grows up I can show them how it's done.

Cupcakes

It was Mom's birthday so we celebrated with cupcakes at the pool. I LOVE cupcakes.

Dinosaur Park

Here I am with my best pals and we wrangled this triceratops. We are very strong.

Swimming Cover-all

After swimming, generally when my lips are blue and my limbs are shaking, my parents make me put on a cover all to get warm. Here I am!!

Dance

First I was ready for my ballet - something akin to the Nutcracker.



Then I danced to my favorite music in my new skirt.

Lily in the Pool

I am doing very well for accomplishments this summer. I can count to ten. I can sing most of the ABCs. And now I can swim. In the baby pool I swim on my own (kind of) and in the big pool Daddy helps me float and I swim.

Playing in the Fountain

I had the best trip last week. My Utah family and I went down to Salt Lake City - on the train - and played in the fountain at the cool mall there. I loved the train. I looked out the window saying "choo choo" the whole time. The water at the fountain was not quite as cool - but it was fun to have Daddy chase me around.

New Fun

I was introduced to a new concept today - the slip 'n slide. It was fun.

Baton

A million years ago my Mom (now I call her Mom) took baton instruction. She was really bad at it but for some reason she kept the baton. It is now one of my favorite toys.

Maine!

On my Nana's side we have family in Maine - they don't have r's there. Last summer Nana bought me this t-shirt and I have finally grown into it!!

Dentist

Today was my first visit to the dentist. She took a mirror and looked at Mama's teeth, so I looked at them with her. And then we looked at Daddy's teeth. And then we looked at Ted's teeth - but I very politely said "no" when she wanted to look at my teeth. I liked the chair going up and down and I liked wandering into other offices to look at other people's teeth. Everyone thought I was very cute and I got to pick out a toothbrush - given a choice between princesses and pooh and cars - I picked the cars. Because, I am a princess, I don't need them on my toothbrush.

New Family Coming

Here's me and my Daddy - and I think we are just fine just the two of us. But my Mama and Daddy decided that bringing home a baby brother in September is a good idea. Seriously!

Lacrosse Banquet

My daddy is the coach of a high school lacrosse program. This weekend the team had a banquet. I taught the players how to properly get ground balls.

I did NOT like the trampoline. Even when Daddy was on it with me.

I loved the horses but I let Daddy go by himself because I was just a little too scared to ride them myself. Maybe next summer!!

Cuteness at a Lacrosse Game

Last night I watched my Daddy play lacrosse - he was playing his players and he was SO old. Smile. I kept looking around wondering where my family was (as it turns out, Daddy hadn't told Mama in time for her to let people know). Mama took 300 pictures of the game (not hyperbole) on her new camera. So every once in a while I'd say, LILY, and she'd turn and take a few of me. Not enough of me - but a few.

It's been a while - but here I am in my Easter outfit on Easter playing with my new blocks the bunny brought.

I am learning my manners. I say thank you whenever someone gives me something and I say please whenever I want something. This is what I look like when I see please, as I usually toss in a cute head maneuver so I definitely get my way.

Jig Jog

Gigi says I'll have to get Grandpa to buy me a pony. Grandpa said he would, of course. But I am pretty sure I won't need one - I have a Hobbes.

Chuck E Cheese

I love Chuck E Cheese. I have 5 rides I go on - but if someone turns the rides on, I get right off. I just want to sit on them, I don't want them to move or anything. And if someone is around to answer my demand of "ON" immediately, I just climb up. Unfortunately I am not all that good at climbing up.

Elmo Cookie

Grandma Darlene got me an Elmo cookie. Here I am eating his head. Between each bite, I said "Elmo!" Mama was a little concerned.

Brilliant Artist

Two days a week I go to my child care provider's house to play. I love it. Generally I shut the door on Momma and Daddy's faces when they drop me off. I have two friends there and we have so much fun! Yesterday I thought that I would give Claude Monet some competition. Here's my first attempt at impressionism. I call it - Lily at Kristin's House - enjoy it!

Mickey D's

I LOVE the crawl through thing at the McDonald's. Even when I get knocked over by the bigger kids, I just keep going!

Summer Time

Here I am, at the Dinosaur Park, last summer. I can't wait for summer. We've had so much snow and I want to play in the sun!

Grandma Tuesday

Technically I don't have Grandma days anymore because Grandma and Grandpa are on sabbatical. But sometimes I get to go over and play - just to get in my needed Grandma fix. Today was one of those days and here I am lounging around the house.

18 Month Report

The picture is old - notice the cast - so, no I did not break my pinky again. I just happen to be posting from a computer that hasn't updated photos of the Princess recently.

Passed my autism screening - no autism. I am super cute and am running around totally healthy.

Oh, and, my pediatrician gave me a book! So it was a great day. Which doesn't explain why I screamed the whole time I was in the doctor's office.

Helping Daddy

Mama said that Daddy had to put safety locks in my cupboards - which is somewhat frustrating to me, but I'll survive - so I helped Daddy by taking all the stuff out while he was using the screwdriver. If it weren't for me the project would never have been finished.
