My Christmas Outfits

This was my outfit for Grandma Darlene's Christmas Party! I danced so hard I threw up. But Mama says she's done that in the past, so no worries!

This is my Christmas Party outfit. I am so cute. I spend hours looking at myself in the mirror.

My favorite toy this season is my Christmas moose. It sings, its antlers wiggle around, and I play it over and over again. Daddy keeps hiding it, but I am much smarter than he is.

Decorating the Tree

Here I am - helping Mama decorate the tree I am particularly good at taking ornaments off and throwing them on the floor, I have destroyed 4 thus far. And if they survive my toss, I then put them on the tree somewhere else. This has led to an interesting decorating style of no ornaments up the first third of the tree.

Everything is Great

I went to my godmother's house for Thanksgiving this year (over the mountains and through the woods to godmother's house we go) and had a great time. I ate a lot of food. I played with my godsiblings - is that a word? Much fun was had by all. Unfortunately Mama and Daddy forgot to take pictures so I had to dig for this older one of me to post today.

My Puppy

So I'm sick. I've been up with a bad fever. Mama stays up with me one night and Daddy stays up the next night. But my puppy stayed up with me both nights. In my room. Just to be with me. While I am sick.

Tonight I was being chased by my Daddy. This was great fun until I tripped and slammed my head down. I have a huge shiner above my left eye. I cried for a while - quite loudly. It made everyone in the house feel bad. I'll survive - but I kind of look like a boxer.

This is my Duchess. She is my Mama's favorite meow meow. She completely ignores my existence. It's hard for a Princess and a Duchess to live in a house together without some problems - so we just run our own way.

This week my Daddy is out of town. My Grandma and Grandpa are coming to visit and take care of me while my Mama also goes out of town. I won't miss Mama so much as I miss my Daddy - if for no other reason than she's afraid of the backpack.

New Place to Play

Here I am looking at birds with my Daddy. The family went out today to a bird sanctuary. It was fantastic!!!

I am Brilliant

Mama and Daddy are so proud of me. Yesterday I was the only baby who would play in Musikgarten. Here's the story:

Amy (Musikgarten teacher): I have a new game for today. I will put out this parachute and we'll have the kids sit on it.
Every other kid in class: AAHHHH - TEARS - SNIFFS - DRAMA
Lily: I'm game, Amy, where do you want me to sit?

Then I sat, in the middle of the parachute with the whole class singing to me the wheels on the bus. I was perfect, I was cute. And of course all these people were worshipping me, as people should!

So my cousin will be a boy. That's good. It will be nice to have a boy cousin to play with. But I am pretty sure he will never look as good in a Manning jersey as I do right here.

My First Plane Trip

Here I am relaxing in my plane seat on my first plane trip when Mama and I went to New York to visit my sick Grandpa. Look how cool I am.

I was away for a week, but now I'm back. As soon as Mama downloads some photos of me I will post them so you can see how cute I am.

Closet Purge

Friday I became 9 months old. I am a big girl now, no more baby. So I had to purge my closet, which generally consisted of my telling Mama what to get rid of while I sat on the floor with my new clothes which I then told her to put in my closet.

Other new things I've done: ride my dad's shoulders, ride in the cart sitting in the front at the grocery store, stand up holding furniture, using Cruisers diapers instead of Swaddlers, crawl everywhere.

I rock.

Here I am with my auntie Michelle. In case there is some confusion - I have an Aunt Michele as well - let me explain the title. If you are a real aunt or uncle (I have 2 aunts and 2 uncles now - I expect some day to get another aunt and uncle) you get the aunt title, capitalized, in front of your name. If you are a very close girlfriend of my Mama (which means you'll be in my life because you're part of the tribe she chose) then you are an auntie, not capitalized.
